Questions About Your First Visit

What happens at a first meeting with Great Buffalo Private Wealth? The first sit-down is a conversation, not a pitch. We ask about your land, your business, or whatever transition brought you in, and we listen more than we talk. You will leave with a sense of whether we are a fit for each other. There is no obligation and no product discussion at this stage. Is there a charge for the first meeting? No. The first meeting is free and there is no pressure to move forward afterward. We built our firm on referrals from families in Bozeman, so we would rather take the time upfront than rush someone into a decision that is not right for them yet. What should I bring to the first meeting? Bring whatever feels relevant to what is on your mind, whether that is a recent appraisal, a business valuation, statements from other accounts, or nothing at all. Many clients come in with just questions. We will tell you what documents matter once we understand your situation better. Where do I park at your Bozeman office? Our office is at 18 W Main St, Suite 2, right on Main Street in downtown Bozeman. Street parking is available along Main, and there are public lots within a short walk on the side streets nearby. How long does a first meeting usually take? Plan on about an hour. That gives us enough time to hear your situation and for you to ask questions, without either of us feeling rushed. If we need more time, we will schedule a follow-up rather than cramming everything into one sitting. What if I am not ready to make any decisions yet? That is a common starting point, especially with land or a business sale still in progress. We would rather meet early and stay in touch than have you make a decision alone. There is no pressure to sign anything at the first meeting or the second. Do I need to already have my land or business sold before I contact you? No. Some of the most useful conversations happen before a sale closes, since decisions made early can shape the tax and estate picture later. If you are still working through a ranch sale or a business exit, that is a good time to call. Ready to talk through your situation with no pressure and no charge? We would like to hear from you.
